Goblin

The land is full of adventurers. I sit around the Guild Hall, awaiting my next quest. There are always plenty, as there is no end to goblins, yet somehow, these past couple of days, it has been quiet. Every guild member is giving it their all in order to quell as many goblins as possible. Now, many of us are left with nothing but sitting around and waiting for the Guild to post more jobs for us.

Some have chosen to just laze about, drinking ale and singing songs. But not me. I cannot rest easy knowing that somewhere out there, goblins still roam about, looting and pillaging. I need something much more than just alcohol and songs.

Yet in the guild, there is no scarcity of other forms of distractions, forms which I like, too.
